Scars On My Soul

These cracks that you see

Are my epitome

Scribed in my ancient lore

They're where they should be

Formed so perfectly

From years of yearning to be more

These stains on my skin

Were felt deep within

Moulding me right to my core

They're where they should be

Through their eyes I see

And their voice became my roar

These wounds that you see

Embody me

The Virgin, the Goddess, the whore

They're where they should be

My alchemy

I loathed and now I adore

These scars on my soul

Are how I became whole

In my constant state of war

They're where they should be

For eternity

Adorned proudly for ever more
